Fox News, part 2

All the extreme, over-the-top details. Absolutely no restraint:

Please note the woman's complex hairstyle, her outrageous bling, and the word 'SEXY' embroidered into her over-stuffed dress. Yes, that IS a purple T-Rex with a gun at the top...and for scale, here's a picture of my fingers sewing on his belt buckle:

Look closely and you can see that this thug's shirt is made of money and his do-rag is a cartoon strip. Why is there a Day-Glo green monster on his shoulder? Why not? It's Fox News - anything is possible!

The words FOX NEWS are just as exaggerated  as everything else: heavily sewn, ludicrously outlined in orange, red, pink and purple (we wouldn't want to be subtle..). The guns are from toy soldiers (I told you - you can find anything at garage sales!)

 A few last notes: I added cross-hatching to the images (those tiny lines around the edges of faces) to suggest their origin in newspapers.

 I had a shamefully good time sewing this. I really enjoyed seeing just how far over the top I could take it. But I'm not at all sure that I should have created this. I've stopped watching Stephen Colbert - I used to love his Colbert Report, but now, when I hear him making fun of the whole political situation, I recoil. Our social order is collapsing, and making fun of it won't make it better. 

 I would like to know your thoughts on this....but can't figure out how to make the damn 'comments' thingy work. I've been adding this little how-to-comment tag here at the bottom:
